M&M Qfitt Weaving Thread

The M&M Qfitt Weaving Thread is a professional grade thread made by M&M Headgear Inc. (under the Qfitt brand) specifically designed for weaving hair extensions, dreadlock maintenance, sewing caps and other hair‑integration techniques. It’s available in a variety of colours (Black, Brown, Blonde, Burgundy) and lengths (60 yd, 160 yd, 500 yd, 1,000 yd, 2,000 yd) to suit different professional or home‑use applications.

Benefits

  • Available in multiple lengths to match project scale—small jobs (60 yd) to large‑scale weaving (2,000 yd).

  • Strong polyester/nylon blend that is lightweight yet durable—chosen by stylists for weaving and dreadlock work.

  • Colour‑matched options (Black, Brown, Blonde, Burgundy) help the thread blend into hair for more discreet results.

  • Suitable for a range of hair and extension tasks: weft sewing, braiding reinforcement, dreadlock maintenance, wig constructions.

  • Cost‑effective—smaller spools for everyday use, larger spools for salons or frequent use.

How to Use

  1. Select the appropriate thread colour that closely matches the client’s or your hair colour.

  2. Choose the spool length suitable for your task—e.g., 60 yd for small repairs, 500 yd or 1,000 yd for full weave installations.

  3. Thread a suitable sewing needle (cap/sewing needle or extension‑specific needle) with the weaving thread.

  4. Secure the weft or hair section you are attaching, then sew evenly and tightly through the weft and around the track (or braid) ensuring consistent tension.

  5. Knot off or back‑stitch securely at the end of your sewing to prevent unraveling.

  6. After use, store the large spool in a clean dry area; keep the end of the thread secured so it doesn’t tangle.
