"I bought the EL Kiss New York 31 Warm Vanilla & Amber perfume because I smelled it in the store and thought, “Okayyy… this isn’t bad. Warm, cozy, vanilla vibes. We might have a winner. ” Tell me why I got home, ripped open the packaging like it was Christmas morning, gave myself two generous sprays… …and immediately got hit with Shine ’n Jam. I stood there thinking, “Nah, I’m tripping. There’s no way. Let me collect myself. ” So I called my sister over and asked, “Be honest… what does this smell like?” Without missing a beat she goes, “Shine ’n Jam. ” I almost fell to the floor. This perfume doesn’t smell like warm vanilla and amber. . it smells like somebody’s about to slick my edges before first period in 2016. The nostalgia hit me harder than the fragrance. If that’s your thing, then enjoy. But me? It’s a no. I wanted expensive vanilla. I got hair gel and emotional flashbacks. ⭐️ 1/5. Respectfully… I’ll pass."
