How to Enter
Write a review to enter the Cloré draw for a $100 Cloré Gift Card! Receive one contest entry for each approved review submitted during the contest period.
- Review must be at least 25 words in length;
- Review must contain suitable language;
- Review must be in English and reflect your personal experience with the product you are reviewing;
- Each entrant must sign in to an account on the Cloré website before leaving their review to be entered in the contest.
Official Rules
1. Sponsor
The “Review to Win” Contest is sponsored and administered by Cloré Beauty Supply.
2. Eligibility
To enter, you must be a citizen or permanent legal resident of Canada who resides in Canada (with the exception of Quebec) and is at least 18 years of age. The contest is not valid in Quebec. The following are not eligible to enter to win: Cloré Beauty Supply, their affiliates and their employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members, successors and agents, and their parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, retailers, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies, and any others engaged in the development, production, or distribution of promotional materials or prizes for this promotion (collectively, the “Released Parties”), and members of their immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, ward, daughter or son and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household of Released Parties.
3. Contest Period
The Contest drawing periods are September 2024 through August 2025, after which time the Contest Period will be closed and no further entries shall be accepted.
4. How To Enter
Create an account or sign in to an existing Cloré account
Submit a product review that fits these requirements:
- Review must be at least 25 words in length;
- Review must contain suitable language;
- Review must be in English and reflect your personal experience with the product you are reviewing.
- Any reviews submitted that do not meet the criteria outlined above or are deemed inappropriate by Cloré will be disqualified from the contest.
By participating in this contest, you agree to be bound by these official rules.
5. Winner Selection
One (1) grand prize winners will be selected each month at random from all eligible entries received within the given contest period, totaling 12 prizes over the 12 month period (one per month). All winners will be selected within 14 days of the contest closing date. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Potential winners must be at least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and reside in Canada (not valid Quebec).
6. Winner Notification
Potential winners will be notified by email at the email address registered to their Cloré account within 14 days of the contest closing date. The winners will be given instructions on how to claim their prize. If a selected entrant does not respond within two (2) business days from the draw date, the prize will be forfeited and another selected entrant will be drawn.
Winner must also confirm eligibility. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of the prize, with Cloré having no further obligations to such potential winner. If the prize is returned as undeliverable, or the winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and, at Cloré’s discretion, another potential winner selected by random.
In order to claim a prize and to be declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to:
- Correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by email;
- Sign a declaration of release form stating that they have read, understood, and complied with the rules and regulations of the contest, stating that they accept the prize as awarded;
- Discharge and release Cloré from any and all claims for damages, losses, or injuries resulting from this contest.
- Failure to complete the declaration of release form will result in the prize being forfeited. If a selected entrant does not reply within two (2) business days from the date they were first contacted, or if they do not comply with the rules and regulations, the prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be drawn.
7. Prizing
Twelve (12) $100 Cloré Gift Cards.
The approximate retail value for each prize is $100 Canadian dollars.
No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of a prize is permitted except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion, or in the event a prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Prize is awarded “as is.” Any and all federal, provincial, and local taxes on the prizes are the sole responsibility of prize winners.
Please allow 6-8 weeks for receipt of prize/prize instruction from receipt of the signed declaration and release form.
8. Indemnification by Entrant
By entering the Contest, entrant releases and holds Cloré Beauty Supply harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any Prize, participation in the Contest, any breach of these Contest Rules, or in any Prize-related activity. The entrant agrees to fully indemnify Cloré Beauty Supply from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Contest, including without limitation any claims of infringement of rights to copyright, privacy, and/or personality.
9. Limitation of Liability
By participating, each entrant agrees and by accepting a prize, winners agree:
To abide by these Official Rules, which govern all communications regarding the Promotion;
To release, discharge, and hold harmless the Released Parties, from any and all injuries, liability, losses, and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the entrant’s participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any awarded prize;
To the use of his/her name, review (or portions of the review), image, and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity, and Promotion purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval, or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so; and
Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Promotion or use or redemption of any prize.
The Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, unintelligible/illegible, falsified, damaged, misdirected, or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies, or Declaration and Release, or for any computer, online, software, telephone, hardware, or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an entry. The Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems, failures, or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players, or browsers, on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing. The Sponsor is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant or to any computer related to or resulting from participating in this Contest. Entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any Prize. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability in the event that the Contest cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including those reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor, such as infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest.
10. Conduct
By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the Contest Rules, which will be posted and made available at Cloré Review Guidelines. Entrant further agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
Cloré reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual from the Contest and to ban the individual from any future contest that it finds or believes to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or Contest Website, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by an entrant or any other person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Cloré reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Privacy & Use of Personal Information
By participating in the Contest, each entrant grants to the Sponsor the right to the use of his/her personal information for the purpose of administering the Contest, including but not limited to contacting and announcing the winners and awarding prizes, and by the entrants who have opted-in, to receive future communications from the Sponsor, including but not limited to, offers, promotions, and contests. Sponsor will use personal information only for purposes related to this Contest and Sponsor's future marketing efforts. 12. Governing Law
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. The Contest and Official Rules are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Province of Ontario. As a condition of participating in this Contest, entrant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Ontario, Canada having jurisdiction.
13. Sponsor’s Rights
In the event of a conflict between the Contest Rules and any instructions or interpretations of these Rules given by a Cloré employee regarding this Contest, these Contest Rules shall prevail.
In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the English version of these Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, the French version of these Rules, or point of sale, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the English version shall prevail.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest if, in its opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Contest, or if viruses, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical difficulties, or failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest. In such cases, the Sponsor reserves the right to select the winners by random drawing from eligible entries received as of the date of termination or suspension. The Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or Contest Website or who violates these Contest Rules.
