#SelfDevelopment Campaign with the Cloré Community
During our #SelfDevelopment promotion, the Cloré Community queens have been creating some amazing content for our social media! The theme has been Hair Porosity, and our influencers @rayannesamanthaaa, @itzz.manda, @hi_shern and @facesbypureness brought their A-game with tutorials and demonstrations on how to find out your hair's porosity type and the products they use to look after their locks. Peep our Instagram to see what they've been up to!
Haviah Mighty's MV Shoot
We hosted Haviah Mighty's 'Protest' music video shoot at our Bloor West location! We’re so honored that we were able to allow our space to be used for the creation of the video. The artistry of the entire team involved was so beautiful to see, and to know it comes from right here in Toronto makes us feel so proud. Be sure to stream 'Protest' by @haviahmighty now!

Workshop with the Black Fashion + Beauty Gala
We've been working on a mentorship programme in collaboration with the Black Fashion & Beauty Gala (BFBG) and our first workshop was held earlier last month at our community event space; the Beauty Hub!
Fashion designer Rhowan James was our incredible guest speaker for the event, and he spoke to attendees about his journey to becoming the renowned designer that he is today. He also spoke about the importance of creating a reputable brand, and how to separate yourself from others in order to stand out. It was an amazing workshop and we came away with insight into the fashion industry and fresh new ideas. Thank you to Rhowan and the BFBG!
Hygiene4Her Donation Drive
Hygiene4Her is a a youth-led non-profit organization that does fabulous work towards accessible hygiene. They believe that having access to hygiene products, from toothbrushes to menstrual products, should not be a luxury, but a right.
They have partnered with women's shelters Anova and Yellow Brick House to hold a donation drive, collecting monetary donations and items such as toiletries, sanitation products, beauty products, and PPE to help support the shelters during these unprecedented times. Cloré are sponsoring the drive with donations of hand sanitizer and sets of shampoo and conditioner.
Wellness Wednesday with the Cloré Community
Another fun Wellness Wednesday session was held for Peel youths with our Cloré Community sister @facesbypureness as guest speaker! Pureness spoke to the group about hair porosity, including how to determine your hair porosity and what products work best for different porosity types. Thank you to the Black Youth School Success Initiative for the wonderful collab!
